Welcome to our website

The website contains 3 kind of projects:

Developement of a wide range of free and open source Lazarus based applications, an Object Pascal based Linux distribution and general promotion of Lazarus and Object Pascal.

 

Why Object Pascal?

Isn't it an outdated and inadapted language? Absolutely not! Maybe we are in a period of all C/C++ and Java but there is no objective reason for it. When you ask most people why C++? They say: "Because everyone uses it!" But it hasn't to be that way. Object Pascal offers an easy and comprehensible languages for beginners and professionnals alike. Lazarus is a RAD and IDE which means you can produce a wide range of applications very quickly. Furthermore the Free Pascal Compiler compiles about seven times faster than its C++ equivalent: GPP (G++). But this is only one of the multiple advantages that the use of Object Pascal provides to everyone.
